Firstly Wash the fish pieces with little salt and turmeric powder. Now we see the required ingredients for fish curry recipe
Fish  Curry Recipe
Ingredients:

Washed and sliced fish                --     500 gms 
coriander leaves thinly chopped    --     11/2 cups 
Tamarind                                     --   1 cup
Tomatoes finely chopped              --    2
Garlic cloves                               --10
Curry Leaves                              
Cumin powder     
chopped green chilies                -- 4
Coriander powder                        -- 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder                      -- Little or a pinch
Onions                                    -- 2
Coconut Milk                          -- 2 cups(Optional)
Pepper                                     -- ½ t spoon    
Salt To Taste and oil as required

How to make South Indian Authentic basic fish curry recipe:
Soak the tamarind in 2 cups of hot water. Medium sized

To release all the pulp Squeeze the soaked tamarind well. Strain it to get thick tamarind juice and remove the seeds and waste. Soak the fish in salt and turmeric powder for 10 to 15 minutes. Shallow fry the fish pieces, drain and keep aside. Grind the coriander leaves, garlic and green chillies. Heat the cooking oil, add curry leaves green chillies fry until spluttering stops, and onion paste fry till onion color changes to brown, now add the chopped tomato and masala paste and fry till the oil separates out.
Mix the red chili paste and tamarind juice and salt to taste. Mix well, pour the tamarind juice over it. Bring the gravy to a boil. Finally Add the fish slices and cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Serve delicious south Indian fish curry hot J.

The tamarind gravy gives it a lovely tangy flavor that goes really well with plain rice. Entirely delicious fish curry. We do this recipe often, not every week, once in two or three months.

Fish Fry or Fish Pakora Recipe

500 gms filleted fish(deboned –any fish, white flesh - preferably bone less fish) cut into pieces
·        Ginger Garlic paste    -- 3 tbspoons
·        Turmeric powder         -- 1 tspoon 
·        Coriander powder         -- 1 tspoon
·        Cumin powder              -- 1 tspoon
·        Red chilli powder           -- 1 tspoon       (optional but desirable)
·        Salt to taste    
·        Lemon                           -- 1
·        Bengal gram flour         -- 11/2 cups(besan flour)
·        Oil to deep fry the Fish Pakora

Take large, deep bowl, mix the coriander, ginger and garlic pastes, turmeric and cumin powders, chilli powder, salt to taste and lemon juice. Mix well together to form a thick batter. Apply the thick masala paste on fish pieces both sides, ensure to coat each piece well. Marinate the fish 1 hour.

In a wide pan, heat oil for deep fry the fish pieces.When the oil is hot enough, drop few pieces of battered fish into the oil and fry. If you overcrowd the pan Pakoras will stick to each other, so don’t do like that. Fry pakoras until becomes golden color and crispy on all sides. Use a slotted spoon to move the Pakoras around and occasionally turn them.
Gently remove from oil with a slotted spoon when done, and drain pakoras further on kitchen paper towels or use tissue papers. Mouth watering delicious fish pakoras ready , yields 4 to 6 people.
Serve hot, arranged in a platter. Squeeze lemon juice over the pieces just before serving. You can also serve with Coriander (or mint) Chutney for some extra vitality.
